The father of 23 year old singer, Chidinma Ekile has passed on. He reportedly died yesterday December 9. The singer who won the 2010 the MTN Project Fame is yet to utter a word on her father’s death but shared a photo on Instagram with the caption “Say A Prayer For Me”. The photo has been flooded with condolence messages ever since. Chidinma recently released a song featuring her mum.

Kannywood’s celebrated comedian, Rabilu Musa Ibro, has died. Ibro died in the early hours of Wednesday, a colleague of the artiste, said. Ibro will be buried in Kano Wednesday morning. Confirming his death, a colleague and a Kannywood movie producer, Hassan Hassan, said he received the news with shock early Wednesday. It is not yet clear how the comedian died.
