Nasarawa records first case of coronavirus

Governor Abdullahi Sule, on Tuesday, announced in a press briefing that Nasarawa has recorded its first coronavirus case. He said that five tests were conducted, four came back negative with one positive. “It is sad to announce that Nasarawa has recorded the first case from this lady that travelled from Kano to Kokona local government area of the state. “We already evacuated the lady from Kokona to Lafia where we have better facilities to take care of her. “We have also isolated the family where she came from so that we can conduct a proper test to ensure that her family members are not infected, ” Sule stated.

Hope rises, as Lagos records drop in Covid-19 infections

Lagos State has again recorded a drop in Coronavirus infections, with 34 new cases recorded on Monday. Of the 64 new cases recorded, Lagos has 34. Three days ago, Lagos recorded its first drop in coronavirus infections with 33 confirmed cases; it moved up again on Sunday with 43 cases and moved downward again to 34 cases. This represents a cheering news from the over 280 cases it ramp up in five days last week. On Monday, the State discharged another 15 coronavirus survivors after they tested negative twice. This brings to 143, the number of patients discharged by the state so far, according to the NCDC. The State has also recorded 19 deaths and has 603 active cases to manage.
