President Muhammadu Buhari said in London yesterday that the names of corrupt Nigerians will be made public in a speech he intends to deliver on May 29. He mentioned such corrupt individuals will be prosecuted. He also mentioned all those involved in blowing up oil installations and sabotaging investments in the Niger Delta region will not go unpunished. He noted that he has already directed  the Chief of Naval Staff and other service chiefs to fish out the brains behind the attacks.

A government building set to be used as a shopping complex has collapsed on Friday morning in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State. Many people are reportedly trapped in the 4-storey building as corpses are being evacuated from the structure which was still under construction before it came down. The ultra-modern shopping complex was being built by the state government at the popular Itoku market in Abeokuta.
