Ogun Youths Vow to do away with recycled politicians

History was made in Ogun East Senatorial constituency of Ogun State on  the 27th of April, 2018 as Young politicians under Young Progressive Party gathered in their large numbers to declare with one voice that enough is enough. A meeting was hosted by the youths of the Ogun East Senatorial District where the youths all stated their displeasure and ordeals from the rulings of the recycled old politicians. The youths expressed a desire to be lead and not ruled. A desire to have  young, passionate, vibrant and highly intellectual Nigerians to be at the helms of affairs of any political public office. The youths also declared their interest and desire to join the Young Progressive Party YPP as the only party that can fully represent the interests of the youths in transparency, accountability and equity. Melaye Thanks Constituents For Rejecting Recall

Hospitalised Dino Melaye has come on Twitter to thank his constituents for rejecting attempts to recall him from Senate. Melaye spoke from the National Hospital where he had been receiving treatment since Tuesday after he reportedly jumped out of a moving police vehicle and sustained injuries. “Thank you my people. God bless you all. Thank you for the confidence reposed on me. I will not let you down. I will always stand by the truth and the people at all times. God bless Kogi West,” Mr Melaye said on twitter. “Every lie has an expiry date. Forces of evil will never triumph over forces of light. God is with us,” he added. Recall earlier this morning, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared that the recall exercise they held on Saturday failed after people refused to come out to participate.
