Breaking News: Senate, Reps hold joint closed-door session

The Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives will soon be in a joint closed session at the Reps chamber. The Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, announced this 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Mr Dogara did not state why the lawmakers want to hold the joint session. The Senate had earlier moved into a closed session which started 11 a.m. As at press time, the Reps members were waiting for the senators to join them.

There seems to be no more bad blood between actress Doris Simeon and her film maker estranged husband, Daniel Ademinokan. Doris is currently in New York and she took out time to see her son. Her dad was however with them throughout the outing. In the photos, Daniel and Doris never sat next to each other; their son played the main man of the outing.
