Fayose Demands Apology From PDP Over Suspension

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has requested the Peoples Democratic Party to apologise for suspending him from the party. He described his suspension as “libellous and defamatory” with the aim to soil his personality. Recall that Fayose and some members of the party were suspended by the National Working Committee of the party over alleged anti-party activities. However, on Thursday, the party reversed the decision and warned members of the pary to respect the party’s constitution. Fayose, through his lawyer, Akinwale Kol-Taiwo, addressed a letter dated March 31 to the party’s acting national chairman, Iliya Damagum, noting that he was suspended for no reason. Portable Faces Multiple Assault Charges – Police

  The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has stated that controversial singer, Portable, will face more than six charges in court. Adejobi made this known in a Twitter thread on Saturday, where he explained the difference between the alleged threat by Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo, and Portable’s case. Responding to a Twitter user, who compared both cases, Adejobi tweeted, “I am sure you are very awake as I have addressed MC’s case, but Portable has more than six count (sic) charges to attend to, apart from resisting arrest and injuring a policeman. He will be charged to court for beating up a guy in Otta, who fired a petition to the Commissioner of Police in Ogun. “There are many pending cases of assaults on people and attacks, and he will be investigated because people have complained against him.

Toriwowo will now run every weekday from 8-10pm non stop. As a comedian, he is very visible in Abuja entertainment landscape and has hosted as well as co-hosted several shows in the nation's capital.
