Rivers State APC chapter has said they have put everything in place and now heading to the court to challenge the Victory of PDP’s governorship candidate,  Chief Nyesom Wike in the last election, who INEC declared winner. According to a statement released by the chairman of Rivers APC Chapter, Davies Ikanya, the party’s mandate was stolen by the Peoples Democratic Party, in connivance with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the police. The senator-elect in Ogun East, Prince Buruji Kashamu was absent at the presentation of certificate of returns to the newly elected federal lawmakers and the governor. The House of Representative member-elect to represent Remo federal constituency, Oladipupo Adebutu (the son of lotto billionaire Adebutu, whom his father threw a lavish  party  for shortly after his victory) was also absent. Both candidates are members of PDP. Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun, and other candidates who emerged winners were however there to receive their certificates. NITEL The Federal Government yesterday approved the hand over of Nigeria Telecommunications  Limited (NITEL) and its mobile arm, Mtel to NATCOM. National Council on Privatisation (NCP) Technical Committee Deputy Chairman Haruna Sambo,  who spoke after the NCP meeting chaired by Vice President Namadi Sambo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said the consortium had completed the payment of $252.251million being the cost of the firm’s acquisition. He said: “You recall that at the last NCP meeting, approval was made for the financial bid for NITEL/MTEL by the bidder, NATCOM Consortium at the cost of $ 252.251m.
