Man U to pay Chelsea millions of pounds for 'Special one' and 'Jose Mourinho' image rights

Manchester United have agreed to pay Chelsea millions of Pounds in order to have image rights to Mourinho's name. Chelsea bought the rights to Jose Mourinho’s name and image in 2005 and continue to sell Jose Mourinho products like mugs, cups, scarfs etc on their website, still earning considerable money from the 11 year old deal. Jose Mourinho's move to United was supposed to have been completed  on Wednesday  but the club couldn't come up with an agreement with the Portuguese after it emerged Mourinho's previous advisors sold his 'special one' and 'Jose Mourinho' image rights to Chelsea and if Man U eventually signs up Mourinho they won't be able to use his image for promotion, adverts or any other commercial venture.   Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward wants the rights to Jose Mourinho’s image and that is what has been holding up the deal over the past 48 hours. Lagos unveiled new modern buses to replace danfo

The Lagos state government has unveiled new modern buses it wants to use to replace and phase out danfo and molues in the state. The new buses are expected to be cheaper and durable and the government advised danfo bus owners to key into the project now before it is too late.  The commissioner for transportation, Dr. Dayo Mobereola said the scheme would see to the introduction of higher capacity buses that would have 30 seats as opposed to 14/18 seats, while the buses would be Eco – friendly, air-conditioned, comfortable, support for maintenance and backed by appropriate workshop which creates jobs Mobereola said with the introduction of the new mode of transportation, danfo buses would be displaced economically as Lagosians would be left to choose between very cheaper means of transportation and expensive danfos.

The Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja, Joshua Iginla on Sunday, gave out 32 cars out of which were 16 SUVs to celebrate his birthday. Iginla also gave out money running into several millions of naira to the aged, widows, orphanage homes and scholarships to orphans from nursery school to university. Six Nollywood actors and actresses got Hummer jeep 3 series, Mercedes G-Wagon and Mercedes CLS 550. They included Jide Kosoko, Francis Duru, Alex Usifo, Ngozi Osondu, Thelma Nwosu and Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Babaluwe. Artisans got generators and cash gifts while the widows got deep freezers, rice and cash gifts ranging from N150,000 to N1.5 million. Treasure Orphanage Foundation, Nyanya, Divine Wound Orphanage, Kubwa and Christ Home Foundation, Kuje, got N1.5 million each and rice while some orphans in the homes were awarded scholarships from nursery to university.
