Nice One! Rio Ferdinand Donates £500k Worth Of Toys To Kids This Xmas

Rio Ferdinand has gone the extra mile this Christmas and pledged an incredible half a million pounds worth of toys for a local Manchester charity. United legend Ferdinand has made the stunning donation on behalf of himself and his city centre restaurant Rosso to Key 103’s Cash for Kids campaign. Former skipper turned BT pundit Rio made the donation after seeing first hand the good work of the Manchester radio station’s charity. He said he couldn't bear to think of any child going without a Christmas present. Rio said: “As a father myself I couldn’t see children going without opening a present this Christmas Day - the work that Cash For Kids at Key 103 do is truly amazing. Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, today visited the Ado Ekiti branch of Zenith Bank where he withdrew some money from his accounts. This followed the Federal High Court judgment which ordered the bank to immediately unfreeze the governor’s accounts by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC). Federal High Court in Ado Ekiti has ordered that Governor Ayodele Fayose’s accounts in Zenith Bank be defrozen with immediate effect. Recall that the Governor’s personal accounts were frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. in June, this year. The EFCC has faulted the order by a Federal High Court asking it to defreeze the bank accounts.

True story of the boy who was sealed in a wall in Ondo state

Last week, a boy who was reportedly 12 years old, who was sealed in the wall of a house in Ondo state was rescued.  Several reports emerged as to how he ended up inside the wall of the house which looked old and dilapidated, none of which made much sense. However, Channels TV crew visited the sight of the incident to find out what the people in the town really knew about the boy and the weird incident. The boy was identified as Aduragbemi Saka. According to Channels TV, the house where the boy was found is located at 3B Akinfemisoye Street, Oduduwa Area in New Town, Ondo State. The owner of the house reportedly travelled out of the country several years ago, so wasn't at the location of the incident when it happened, but the building was being occupied by students of Adeyemi College of Education. Cristiano Ronaldo wins the 2016 Ballon D'or award for the 4th time

Real Madrid and Portugal super star Cristiano Ronaldo had been crowned the world's best player for 2016 after he defeated rival Lionel Messi to clinch the Ballon D'or award for the fourth time in his very illustrious career. The award crowns such a hardworking year for the Madeira native who helped Real Madrid win the UEFA champions league title and also helped his country, Portugal, to win a historic EURO 2016 cup, despite the huge odds against them. The striker topped the poll of 173 journalists worldwide to take home France Football magazine's coveted award  on Monday  night held in Paris, France. The player was not present in Paris to collect the award due to the Club World Cup which Reeal Madrid is currently participating in, in Japan. Messi came second in the award while Antonie Griezmann of France/Atletico Madrid came third.
