As preparations heat up for his relocation to Israel, Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder of Synagogue Church of All Nation has revealed the mystery behind his power. The founder made this revelation in a documentary currently airing on national Israeli television, Reshet TV about the impending arrival of the Nigerian cleric. Prophet Joshua had declared his intention to leave Nigeria and relocate his ministry to the nation of Israel, which is believed to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ. He told his congregation that he had just returned from the ‘Holy Land’ where he held meetings with three prominent Israeli mayors of Jerusalem, Tiberias and the Jordan Valley. Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Ernest Addison as the nation’s new central bank governor following the resignation of Abdul Nashiru Issahaku after only a year in the post. Addison, an economics graduate from the University of Ghana, was director of research at the central bank from 2003 until 2011, the Presidency said in an emailed statement on Thursday. Until his reappointment today, he was the lead regional economist of the African Development Bank at its Southern African Resources Centre, the Presidency said.

The Presidency on Thursday said President Muhammadu Buhari has not changed his plan to return to his  doctors  in London, United Kingdom for follow-ups. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in an interview with journalists. Shehu said it was not true that Buhari had decided to bring his doctors to Nigeria instead of returning to London. The presidential spokesman however did not specify when Buhari will return to London. He said, “It is false news (that Buhari is no longer going to London). We are not aware of the reported advance movements. “The last time the President spoke about this, he said he would return to his doctors after some time. “We are not aware that this has changed. After battling different ailments for two years actor Prince James Uche has died. He died around 2:00pm at a Festac private hospital. He was supposed to leave for India this Saturday, but unfortunately lost the battle. Let’s just say the donations came too late. He was survived by wife and three kids and aged 55.

An Abuja Magistrate Court in Bwari has ordered the remand of a young boy for allegedly impregnating a 16-year-old Junior Secondary School student. The  young boy’s mother was also accused of threatening the girl if she failed to abort the pregnancy. The father of the girl told the court that the incident had forced the girl out of school. He said the pregnancy was first suspected by the mother of the girl before it was later confirmed at a hospital. He said the girl told her mother that she was impregnated by the accused, one Japhet Adams, who used to lure her into their compound any time her mother was away and had sexual intercourse with her. The father of the girl further told the court that when the young  boy was informed of the pregnancy, he accepted responsibility but his mother stood against it and she threatened the girl to abort it with a warning that if she failed to do so, she would curse her and the unborn child.
