No secretary is worth your marriage, Adeboye tells married couples

Image
The General overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye is presently trending on twitter for his teachings on fidelity. In a series of tweets this morning, the cleric had admonished Christians to take their marriage seriously, challenging them to cut off whatever could make them contemplate adultery. He said: “Today, I will be focusing on the married. It is sad that many married people are still having crushes with persons apart from their spouses. “If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately.” However, in one of the tweets, he charged his “son” to sack a lady he’s admiring at work and that got many Nigerians angry. He said: “One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.”

The recent comments attributed to the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige admonishing potential presidential aspirants from the South East in the 2023 election not to make the mistake of Prof. Kingsley Moghalu in contesting on the platform of a relatively unknown party, which ironically produced a representative in the Senate is rather unfortunate and clearly shows the myopic thinking of a man who has lost touch with reality. 2. The vision of the Young Progressives Party presidential candidate, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu is too big for small minds to comprehend, hence the unsolicited advice and narrow reasoning from Dr. Chris Ngige that Prof. Kingsley Moghalu would have been better suited to contest any other position other than the president. 3. The duo of PDP and APC are visionless, rudderless and destructive, which explains why the country is presently at the precipice and it would have been hypocritical for a transformational leader in the mold of Prof. Ki...
