   Osinbajo Grassroots Organisation (OGO) has put smiles on the faces of students of Alasagba Community High School, Igbara-Oke and Ikeji-Arakeji Grammar School, in Ondo and Osun states respectively, when it paid unscheduled visit to the South West schools on Thursday.The visit was part of the ongoing donation of educational materials to students of public schools across the nation by the organisation.   Operatives of the Enugu Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested 42 suspected internet fraudsters in separate operations in Awka and Enugu. Twenty-nine (29) of the suspects were arrested in Awka while thirteen (13) were arrested in Enugu following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.   The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested the quartet of Lucky Ebhogie, Richman Kas Godwin, Israel Justin and Precious Iwuji for internet-related fraud. They were arrested on August 5, 2021 in the Sabo area of Kaduna, Kaduna State following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud activities. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects are mostly involved in impersonation and romance scam; faking the identities of US military personnel on foreign missions to deceive their victims. One of the suspects, Lucky Ebhogie allegedly recruited his mother into the scam by using her account to launder suspected proceeds of crime. The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday approved the award of a contract to Dangote Industries for the construction of five roads totaling 274.9 km at the cost of N309.9bn to be advanced to the company as tax credit. Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). “The second memorandum presented by the ministry was for the construction or the reconstruction, as the case may be, of five road projects in favour of Dangote Industries Limited, totaling 274.9 kilometres of federal roads, under the Federal Government Roads Infrastructure Tax Credit policy,” he said. “Those five roads totaling 274.9 kilometres will cost N309,917,717,251.35 to be advanced by the Dangote Industries as tax credit. “The roads, specifically, are Bama to Banki in Borno State for N51.016 billion with 49.153 kilometres; Dikwa to Gamboru-Ngal...
