Tinubu Blasts Kashamu, I Can’t Be A Role Model To People Like You

Just when you think Senator-elect Buruji Kashamu has more than enough problems to deal with- his big fight with former president Olusegun Obasanjo, his alleged drug case in the US, how some Ogun PDP party chiefs are not in good terms with him, and just when he tried to make peace with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, then he got more ‘blows’.

Remember the newly elected Senator congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a newspaper publication where he praised him for his giant effort in transforming APC and getting them into power? Well, Tinubu has asked him not to waste his time praising him, because they have nothing in common, but asked him to direct his praises to his true role models who are Bode George and President Jonathan. Below is what Tinubu said in a statement signed by his media adviser, Sunday Dare.

“Kashamu may be prodigal but he is no political son of Tinubu,” the APC national leader said in a statement yesterday.

“Kashamu’s political lineage tracks to people like Bode George and President Jonathan. He should direct his encomiums to these men who are his true role models. They need his contrived affections more than Tinubu does,” another part read.
