YPP: A POLITICAL PARTY WITH AN IDEOLOGICAL PARADIGM SHIFT.

Since the existence of Nigeria till today, Nigeria has witnessed many forms of reforms, visions, policies and projections. After indepenent, our founding fathers have projected some visions and reforms for the country with a view to taking our nation to a greater height. It is obvious that many of the visions have failed due circumstances like change in government at the centre, military intervention through coup, government insincerity and others.

This trend of institutional failure by our government has been consistent till the present day. Unfortunately, the same group of people are behind all the failures we have witnessed either through military or democratic leadership system.

Among the recent visions and projections by our government includes the vision 2000, vision 2010, millenium development goal (MDG), vision 2020, transformation agenda, change agenda to mention a few.

The above agendas and visions failed due to lack of political will by those in authority to walk the talk and fulfil their political promises. If the political ideologies of the past and present political parties and structures could not take us anywhere, then I agreed it is better we take a paradigm shift.

In simple term, Paradigm Shift simply means to move away from the usual and normal ways and systems of doing things. It is a way of doing things the unusual way. In Nigeria political system of today, we need a political party that will do things the unusual way. We need a political party that will move any from the norms and normals. We must move away from the normal ways of corruption, political malpractices, lack of internal party democracy, insincerity, godfatherism, dictatorship among others. If truly we desire a deviation from all the above anomalies that Nigeria is known for, then a political party with an ideology of a paradigm shift is what we need and this is where the Young Progressive Party comes in.

YPP is a political platform that has uphold the concept of a paradigm shift among other political platforms. Among others, YPP frown at the ideology of corruption and other malpractises which have become the second nature of other political parties. It is YPP that has come to say NO to what others believe to be the norms.

YPP has come as the only political force to rescue Nigeria from the present negative norms and usuals that have termed and labelled us a country of corrupt and bad people. YPP is taking Nigeria on a paradigm shift to an era where Nigeria and Nigerians will be well respected and celebrated among nations.

A paradigm shift to a system of transparency, accountability and sincerity of purpose is the vision YPP has come to share with all.

No doubt, Nigeria needs no other political party come 2019 at all levels than the Young Progressive Party. With the principle of Paradigm Shift that YPP has come with, Nigeria shall become great a nation once again.
