YOUNG PROGRESSIVE PARTY (YPP) DISTANCE SELF FROM THE COALITION OF UNITED POLITICAL PARTIES (CUPP)

Young Progressive Party (YPP) have issued a press statement to make her stand know on the recent coalition of political parties in Abuja .

1. The Young Progressive Party (YPP) will like to notify her teeming members, critical stakeholders and all Nigerians that she is not a part of the recent coalition of political parties under the aegis of Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).

2. Our party is an ideological driven political movement that believes in politics without greed as such cannot be part of those who see Nigeria as a commodity that can be shared on the basis of who gets what by same "dealers" responsible for our present quagmire.

3. We would rather be among the minority that is right than to be among the majority that is wrong knowing fully well that with persistence and believe in what is right, the minority that is right will one day become the majority, which explains why we would not want to be judged on the wrong side of history when posterity beckons.

4. To this end, there will be a world press conference that will be addressed tomorrow, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the National secretariat to further state our resolute stance on this latest political development.

5. Thanks as always for your kind understanding and support.

Signed:

*Comrade Egbeola Wale Martins*
National Publicity Secretary.
