YPP Presidential Aspirant Kingsley Moghalu Stages One Man Protest Which Resulted To the Freedom Of Imprisoned Owerri Women


Young Progressive Party Presidential Aspirant,  Prof. Kingsley Moghalu staged a one-man protest at Owerri prison, calling for the release of the 112 women being held there since last week for protesting to know the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu, a court in Owerri has ordered the release of all the women, unconditionally.



Moghalu had said during his protest visit: “I am here at Owerri prison to take a stand for civil liberties, to take a stand for human rights. And to take a stand for our democracy."

We are glad that the correct decision has been taken by the court and the women are free.

No to tyranny! Yes to democracy and civil liberti
