COMMUNIQUE AT THE END OF THE ONLINE (ZOOM) MEETING WITH OUR STATE CHAIRMAN, ASIWAJU ABDULLATEEF ADEDAMOLA ADESINA.


It was an amazing time with the State Chairman of YPP in Ogun State, Asiwaju Abdullateef Adedamola Adesina in an online (zoom) meeting with the Executives and members of the Young Progressive Party in the state. The online meeting tagged "Time Out With Asiwaju ", was well attended with over 30 executives and members of the party online as many others reportedly unable to join due to poor network owing to the downpour witnessed across the state last night.

The meeting commenced at exactly 07:10pm with an opening prayer by Comrade Linda Adetokunboh, the State Treasurer. The presence of officers across levels (SWC, SEC, Local Government and Ward) created a robust platform for the State Chairman, Asiwaju to have firsthand information across all levels of the party's leadership. The meeting was honored by the presence of Southwest Chairman of YPP, Honourable Oluwole Britto who was delighted to be part of the meeting.

In his remark, Asiwaju Abdullateef Adedamola Adesina, State Chairman welcome all executives present to the meeting and appreciate their dedication and commitment to the party as displayed by the huge turnout. He reaffirmed his commitment to every detail in his welcome address and promised that he remain committed to his words. In his remark, he noted that YPP Ogun State has been going greatly since the party got registered with INEC in Ogun State.

To Asiwaju, YPP Ogun is not ready and won't ready to settle for less in the coming 2023 elections as he promoted to use his political influence to mobilise prominent individuals of high political value and repute into the party. He promised to lead Ogun State YPP to 2023 with a view to wining majority of seats in the State Assembly, Federal House of Representative and the Senate. In his words, 2023 gubernatorial election belongs to no other party other than YPP as he promised to bring in credible candidates that will fly the flag of YPP in Ogun State.

It was a moment of great satisfaction for all YPP in Ogun State as they all took turn to appreciate the State Chairman Asiwaju for his readiness to further put Ogun State YPP as the political forefront. To all executives and members of YPP in Ogun State, a new dawn is finally here with Asiwaju Abdullateef Adedamola Adesina.

On behalf of all party stakeholders, the State Secretary Prince Tolu Ajayi, appreciated the State Chairman for holding on to his words and promises which he believed would be followed by actions soon. He added that having deal with the Chairman for sometime now, he was confident of his integrity, commitment and honesty as he assured other party faithfuls to have faith in our State Chairman.

After a long deliberation, the meeting was brought to an end by a closing prayer from the State Organising Secretary Comrade Ashiru Ahmeed.
