In line with the succor which the federal, state, local government and other humanitarian service organizations render to the internally displaced persons IDPs, who have been highly affected by the activities of the terrorist group, Boko Haram especially from the northern part of Nigeria, the reigning Miss Confluence Fiesta Queen, Kogi State - an entrepreneur, skills acquisition advocate, a motivational speaker and Chief Executive Officer of Dainty Identity Limited,  Her Majesty Queen Bleeding 11qqqq1àaà11Q11qq Achenyo Alfa decided to contribute her own quota. At random, 300 internally displaced persons children were selected by Amb.Dr Marcel Ezenwoye and Mr Ben Onwudinjo (Scholarship) to be trained on skills acquisition by Queen Blessing Alfa. It Is Difficult To Govern Oyo State- Ajimobi

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has admitted that the state is difficult to manage and that it is an arduous task to govern it. He said this at the 2017 Inter-Faith Service of the state government at the Governor’s office, Ibadan, yesterday. The governor, who is governing the state for the second term said; “Maintenance of our infrastructure and executing new ones have been extremely difficult. Oyo State is a big state. Ibadan alone is bigger than seven states and to govern Oyo State is a big responsibility with big problem and difficult to manage.” He said this, just as he promised that the government would use its share of the Paris Club funds when it is paid for the workers’ welfare as recommended by the Federal Government. 10,000 Successful Police Applicants Begin Training

The 10,000 successful  applicants  into the Nigeria Police Force have started training on December 31, 2016 in various police colleges and training schools across the country. Mr Ikechukwu Ani, Public Relations Officer, Police Service Commission, PSC, who made this known, yesterday, in Abuja, said: “The decision is part of the fallout of the 18th plenary meeting of the commission in Abuja. “The 500 recruited Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police will be trained for 12 months at the Police Staff College, Jos, Plateau State, while the 500 Cadet Inspectors will be at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos for their training which will also last for 12 months. “The 7,500 constables will be holding their trainings in Police Colleges located in their geo-political zones. The training will last for nine months. South-West states of Lagos, Ondo and Osun, with a total of 652 recruited constables will be trained at the Police College, Ikeja while 477 others from Oyo and Ekiti Sta...

2017 Budget: Allocate 50% To Capital Expenditure, Amb. Tells FG

The N7 trillion 2017 proposed budget with 30.7 percent capital expenditure and 60.3 percent recurrent expenditure that was presented to joint national assembly on 14th of December 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari has be faulted by an "Advocate for a Better Nigeria", Chief Dr. Amb.
