Fellow Comrades, It is with huge heart of gratitude that I write this short piece today after getting sorrowful for some hours. Truly the Bible says that "sorrow may endure for a night but joy COMETH in the morning" My joy today is the future of IPAC in the right hands and my sorrow is seeing my principal and leader hand over baton of leadership to another. President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Zahra Indimi, has lamented that many Nigerians attack her on social media for decisions solely taken by her father. She said she prays for those who bully her online because she has learnt to move on with life. Zahra made the statement at the first edition of “An Afternoon with Zahra”, an event organised in Abuja by her foundation, ZMB Homes, tagged #ConversationWithZahra, The Interview reports. The event, which cost N10,000 per person, attracted several young persons. Speaking on her experience with cyber bullies and how she developed confidence to handle them, Zahra wondered why people attack her over issues of governance though she is not in office with her father. As the world celebrate the World Aids day today, YPP Ogun state celebrates the day with messages of hope, courage and glad tidings for everyone living with HIV/AIDS. Notable by all that December is always a special season of glad tidings and merriment. A time many look forward to taking vacations to have a renewed body, spirit and soul. A time of sharing love,  kindness and gifts. A time many look inward with a view to appreciating God for their fulfilled dreams and renewing their commitments for their unaccomplished set goals. A time many set new resolutions for the coming year. Kogi Elections: YPP Gubernatorial Candidate Aisha Audu Calls On Federal Government To Remove Illegal Arms

Former First Lady of Kogi, Prof. Aisha Audu has called on the Federal Government to remove all illegal arms and ammunition in the state ahead of the Nov. 16 governorship election. Audu, who is the candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), made the statement while speaking in Abuja. Audu is the widow of the late Abubakar Audu, former governor of the state who served between 1999 and 2003. The professor described the election as an examination in which the people would come out with the scorecard and not a war. “We are going into an examination, that is how I see the Nov. 16 Kogi governorship elections. “The world is watching, the international community is concern and the reports are not good. ”I believe the government will not take this for granted and do something to stop the killings in Kogi in the name of power-sharing,” she said. Man steals, sells judge’s N2.5m property for N56,000

A 37-year-old man, Abdulganiyu Awoyemi, has been arraigned for stealing angle iron (construction material consisting of pieces of iron or steel with an L-shaped cross section, able to be bolted together) worth N2.5m belonging to a judge with the Osun State Judiciary, Justice A. B. Abdulkareem. The suspect, who was arraigned before an Osogbo Chief Magistrates’ Court, was said to have sold the items for N56,000. Awoyemi, according to the police, sold the items to one Mutiu Oyeyemi, 35, for N56,000. Both men were arraigned before Magistrate Risikat Olayemi on Thursday on two counts of conspiracy and stealing. Awoyemi and Oyeyemi allegedly committed the offences on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, around 2am at Oke-Odo, Okuku. Oyeyemi was separately arraigned on two counts of conspiracy and theft for receiving 155 pieces of angle iron valued at N2.5m in Oke-Odo, Oyan. The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, says alleged Internet fraudster and social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha aka Mompha; and his Lebanese accomplice, Hamza Koudeih, laundered a combined N33bn. Magu further stated that the two belonged to an international crime syndicate that did money laundering, especially in Dubai. The EFCC boss said this at a Press conference in Lagos on Thursday. Another Joint ICPC, FRSC, DSS Operation arrests 26 Road Safety Officials, Man over Extortion of Motorists

The operatives of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), in collaboration with some agencies of the Federal Government, have arrested another set of 26 officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) for allegedly extorting money from road users on Nigerian highways. The other agencies involved in the operations tagged “Operation Tranquility” included the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Department of State Security (DSS). The part of the operation in Owerri, Imo State, also led to the arrest of a man, who was alleged to be the custodian of the proceeds of extortion. The operation which is the second one in three months since the beginning of 2019, was also conducted simultaneously across four states of the federation between October 2nd and October 5th, 2019 following the receipt of a complaint from the management of the FRSC of extortion activities by some members of its patrol teams nationwide.
